Muscular IV: Do the sarcomere slide!
Objectives (TLWBAT):- Understand how movement begins at the cellular level and how this creates movement on the macroscopic level
- Know the components of a muscle fiber and how they work together to produce movement
- Apply knowledge of how a muscle contracts to understand what happens when a muscle relaxes as well.
Lesson/Homework:Again, with only one student there is just some makeup to do. This week to make up for it, I have prepared a video explaining the neuromuscular junction and sliding filament theory on the cellular level. Please view this video, take notes if necessary and be ready to do a fun activity to test your understanding of the concept on Saturday 2/20. Video hereOutline here
If you haven't already also please be sure to complete last weeks worksheets then check yourself using the keys posted. Thanks!
